Richard has been with Accolade Wines for over 11 years where he has been the passionate, driving force behind the award-winning Accolade Park site from its inception. He now leads the end to end European Supply Chain and Operations, delivering an industry leading service to the diverse customer base. Through his experience Richard has created industry leading dynamic operational platforms in the sector thus providing clear differentiation in cost, quality and service for both internal and external customers. Rigorous business review processes founded on metrics supporting strategic objectives are the foundations he always embeds.
A personally recognised leader in the FMCG industry for his knowledge and deployment of the Lean methodology transcending the entirety of the supply chain from customer to supplier. He has represented UK manufacturing on behalf of the European Union and Japanese Governments as they looked to share best practice techniques. Voted one of the Top 25 most influential leaders in UK Manufacturing for Transformational Leadership and a regular keynote speaker at industry forums.
Richard has a Masters in Lean Operations Management and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree. Previously he held a number of production management roles with Imperial Tobacco.
