Born in Nelas, in the heart of the Dão, granddaughter of farmers and merchants. She graduated in law and worked for a few years as a lawyer in Lisbon until she embraced the challenge of returning to her origins to produce wine in the family business, Caminhos Cruzados. Passionate about books, she believes in the power of stories and it is to telling them that she devotes much of her time, communicating the identity of the company and its wines. She also studied marketing and wine communication and has WSET level 3, an international course specializing in wine tasting.
