Maria Inês da Mota Sá is a director of the Manuel António da Mota Foundation, as part of the Executive Board. She has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Católica. She started and developed her career in the Mota-Engil Group in the area of environment, water supply, waste and logistics. In 2012 she assumed responsibilities in the Mota family companies, as part of the team that led the restructuring of the wine company – Agrimota, owner of the Quinta da Calçada brand (vinho verde), where she has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2013. Grandaughter of Manuel António da Mota, within the Foundation she attributes special dedication to the programs aimed at employees and interfaces with the Mota-Engil Group, through Programs such as “Uma Obra um Projeto”. At the Foundation, she was at the origin of recent programs such as Mota-Engil African Initiatives, Kit bebe, and “Fundo 1+2”. Professionally, her areas of greatest interest are corporate social responsibility and Sustainable Development and the important reconciliation between the economy, the environment and the community.
