Porto Protocol to join MEDCLIV (Mediterranean Climate Vine & Wine Ecosystem)
Porto Protocol is proudly part of MEDCLIV Project network, funded by the EIT Climate-KIC, through Nova School of Science and Technology.
The MEDCLIV project, involves partners in 6 countries and aims at experimenting participatory approaches to design and share co-constructed adaptation (and to some extent mitigation) pathways for the vine and wine value chain in Mediterranean territories.
MEDCLIV is a scaling-up of the French experiment to other Mediterranean countries that share similar climate contexts and risks. MEDLIV offers the possibility to create a Mediterranean-wide Living Lab. This Living Lab will be dedicated to the implementation of participatory approaches to initiate value chain concertation and collaborative innovation all over the Mediterranean area.
Each partnering country will focus on at least one regional or national Living Lab, in which they will engage stakeholders and support the development of multistakeholder projects. The MEDCLIV overall Living Lab will generate valuable knowledge and experience on the multiple ways to implement participatory approaches into one territory, one agricultural value chain, and on the results in terms of collaboration for mitigation and adaptation.
Moreover, The MEDCLIV network will recruit networks and share information on an Agrisource platform dedicated to the Mediterranean vine and wine value chain. – for more information available click here.
