TREASURY WINE ESTATES COMPANY SUMMARY

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is one of the world’s largest wine companies, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Everything we do is dedicated to realising our vision of becoming the world’s most celebrated wine company.

We access quality grapes from a range of sources including company-owned and leased vineyards, grower vineyards and the bulk wine market. Our sourcing mix varies by region.

With more than 9,000 planted hectares of vineyards in Australia and New Zealand, and we are the custodian of sought after viticultural assets in the Barossa Valley and the Connawarra in Australia, as well as in Marlborough on the South Island of New Zealand.

We also own and operate more than 3,000 planted hectares of vineyards in the US across renowned viticultural regions in California including Sonoma County, Napa Valley, Paso Robles and Santa Barbara as well as the picturesque Gabbiano vineyard in Tuscany Italy.

TWE acknowledges the challenges and risks posed by climate change. TWE also recognises the responsibility of minimising negative climate change impacts by monitoring and reducing carbon emissions. TWE has been investing in climate change mitigation and adaptation research for more than a decade and we are continually implementing findings and adapting practices to suit the current and predicted changing conditions.

Actions taken by TWE include securing long term grape supply, innovating to manage compressed vintages and continuous data collection and analysis.
