The Butterfly Mark is the leading independent systemised certification that gives consumers confidence that a business is having a positive impact in nature and society. Underpinned by international standards, best practise principles and global legislation. It has been co-created in consultation with a myriad of stakeholders, including academia, NGO’s and the Positive Luxury Sustainability Council and is independently audited by British Standards Institution (BSI).
Becoming certified with the Butterfly Mark equips organisations with robust social and climate insights, including dynamic materiality assessment from different stakeholder perspective, ultimately enabling luxury organisations to forecast the material issues coming their way and tell their sustainability story underpinned by verified facts avoiding the risk of greenwashing.
